What is your mantra?

Oh my, I have too many! My mantra(s): Everything will always work out. You deserve as much grace as you give other people. Start small.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

  • Soundcore over-ear wireless headphones (Airpods always fall out!)
  • Any device that supports talk to text. I love to record rambling voice notes for social, blog, product ideas. So useful, especially when you're driving.
  • My highly trained Claude Code environment (hoping to open source it soon).

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Coffee with cream and sugar (no flavors!) or coconut seltzer water.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

Dry red or white wine or a nice glass of bourbon as a special treat.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

You might think you have a crippling performance anxiety, but one day you'll be fearlessly presenting live on YouTube several times per month. I don't know exactly how you get there (got here?), but it was most likely immersion. Trial by fire. You got this.
