This Issue's Wonder Woman: Anne-Mieke Bovelett

Portrait of Anne Bovelett. A smiling woman with long blonde hair in a luxuriant high ponytail and round glasses.

Anne is a Dutch multilingual strategic advisor, speaker, and coach on digital accessibility and WordPress agency growth. Based in Germany and working worldwide, she empowers agencies and companies to capitalize on inclusive design and code to drive conversion, engagement, compliance, and scalability. With experience in both corporate and SMB settings, she bridges diverse cultures and goals.

What is your mantra?

Perfect is the enemy of good. Keep building, even when it's messy.

Tell us 3-5 tech tools that you swear by that make life & work a little easier.

IA Writer, Cleanshot X, Timing, LLMs and Greyd.Suite for WordPress projects, from small to enterprise sized. It replaces a dozen premium plugins and is the best for scalable projects in my opinion.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle during work hours?

Coffee in the morning, spicy chai and water the rest of the day.

What's in your mug/glass/bottle after hours?

Spicy Chai and water, sometimes wine at dinner.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self?

If you're always the smartest person in the room, you're in the wrong room; get out of there. Never ignore your gut feeling, and stop trying to fit in by lowering your standards; you're a category in itself, and you're allowed to make mistakes and to demand context, as that's how you learn.
