Birgit Pauli-Haack is the curator/publisher of Gutenberg Times, a site with news around the WordPress block editor and beyond. She is the host of the podcast Gutenberg Changelog, discussing what’s new in Gutenberg and more with special guests. Birgit has been contributing to the WordPress open-source project since 2014. In 2021, she closed her web agency after 20 years and works now as a
developer advocate for Automattic. She lives with her husband of 33 years in Munich, Germany.

Knowing what you do now, what advice would you give to your younger self? Don’t be afraid to make mistakes. Mistakes are how you learn, so one is not enough. Keep trying. We all make mistakes. Important is what you do next.
